Occupants advance near Vovchansk and in two frontline areas in Donetsk Region - DeepState
The army of the aggressor country russia has advanced in the areas of three settlements in the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions. It was reported by the DeepState analytical project on Thursday, January 29.
According to OSINT analysts, in the Kharkiv Region, the occupiers seized a number of positions east of Vovchansk.
In the Donetsk Region, russian troops advanced near the village of Dronivka in the Sloviansk sector.
A little further south, the occupiers expanded their control zone near the village of Pazeno in the Kramatorsk sector.
At the time of publication, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not confirm or deny the information published by DeepState analysts.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the day before, the American Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) published a report stating that in some parts of the frontline, the russian army is advancing at a rate of 15-70 meters per day, which is the lowest in the history of wars for more than 100 years.
According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), if the current pace of advancement of the russian army continues, it will take about a year and a half to completely to completely capture the Donbas.
