In Ukraine, emergency power outages have been introduced in a number of regions due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of russian shelling. It was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

The company emphasizes that previously published blackout schedules in those regions where emergency blackouts are applied are not currently in effect.

"Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of Russian shelling, emergency power outages have been introduced in several regions of Ukraine," Ukrenergo noted.

Power engineers are working to restore stable power supply as soon as possible. The company emphasizes that emergency restrictions will be lifted immediately after the situation in the power system stabilizes.

"Emergency blackouts will be canceled after the situation in the power system stabilizes," the transmission system operator said.

At the same time, Ukrenergo warns that the situation may change and urges citizens to follow the official messages of distribution system operators in their regions.

"The situation in the power system may change. Follow the messages on the pages of the distribution system operator (oblenergo) in your region," the message says.

Ukrainians are also asked to be responsible for their electricity consumption.

"If you have electricity now, please consume it sparingly," Ukrenergo emphasized.

As a reminder, about 80% of Kharkiv and the region were left without electricity after a combined russian attack.
