Kyiv Pechersk Lavra closed to visitors until heat supply is restored

The Kyiv Pechersk Lavra National Reserve is closed to visitors until the heating supply is restored.This is stated in the post Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Dear visitors! We would like to inform you that from January 23, 2026, the territory and exhibition facilities of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra National Reserve will be closed to visitors until the necessary heat supply parameters are restored in the network," the message says

The reserve apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Culture said, that on the night of January 24, as a result of a russian massive missile and drone attack in Kyiv, the facilities of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, were damaged.
