Russian Shaheds attacked residential buildings in Kharkiv: 14 wounded - local authorities
On the night of Saturday, January 24, russian attack drones hit residential buildings in the Industrialnyi and Nemyshlianskyi Districts of Kharkiv. Apartments in a high-rise building were burning, a dormitory with IDPs, a hospital and a maternity hospital were damaged. 14 people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a child.
It was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov and representatives of the State Emergency Service.
According to the city authorities, a series of explosions occurred in the city's Industrialnyi District. The enemy's Shaheds hit residential buildings.
"According to preliminary information, in the Industrialnyi District we have a hit to a house and an apartment fire. We have information about another hit to a residential building. People are trapped in a five-story building as a result of the Shahed hit," Terekhov said.
"A 74-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction as a result of the enemy attack on Kharkiv. A 25-year-old pregnant woman was also injured. The State Emergency Service units and emergency ambulance crews are working at the site of the enemy strikes," Syniehubov said.
"A dormitory with IDPs, a hospital and a maternity hospital were damaged in the Industrialnyi District," Terekhov said.
According to the latest data, 14 people were injured in the russian shelling of Kharkiv, including a pregnant woman and one child.
The mayor said that the occupiers were attacking the city for almost 2.5 hours, using 25 drones.
Earlier, the Ukrainian News agency reported that russians are carrying out a massive drone attack, and air alert was declared in a number of regions, including Kyiv and Kharkiv.
