Tax service reduces number of actual inspections by 27% to 2,600 since introduction of moratorium
After the introduction of the moratorium, the number of actual inspections decreased by 27% to 2,600.
This was announced on her Facebook page by the acting head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"If in July 2025 we conducted about 3,600 actual inspections, then in December their number decreased to 2,600. We are removing artificial obstacles. A business that keeps the economy going, pays taxes and salaries, despite the constant attacks of the enemy, must receive proper support from the state," she added.
She reminded that the moratorium on inspections is not about a complete ban.
Control does not disappear, the State Tax Service is actively implementing a risk-oriented approach.
A similar approach was applied when drawing up the inspection schedule for this year.
Inspections have not been canceled for business entities engaged in the circulation of excisable goods.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Tax Service conducted about 200 actual inspections of currency exchange points during the year, and over UAH 58 million in fines were accrued for the violations identified.
