Ukrainian energy system will receive powerful reinforcement thanks to the efforts of international partners, private donors and Ukrainian diplomats. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on Facebook.

The aid is already on its way to Ukraine and includes both financial resources and critical equipment.

In particular, Denmark is allocating an additional EUR 20 million to stabilize electricity supply and increase the resilience of the networks. Japan is also providing significant support in restoring the infrastructure. At the same time, Latvia is sending 50 tons of transformer oil required for the operation of power facilities.

Poland plays a special role in support, where the government and citizens have joined forces to help their neighbors.

"A number of Polish foundations have already raised more than PLN 5 million (UAH 60 million), and the Polish government has separately allocated about 400 generators. Many Polish citizens are sending aid to Ukraine individually," the Foreign Minister said.

Private donors from Hungary have also made a significant contribution. Thanks to a fundraiser initiated by the Hungarian Reformed Church and the Sharkani Foundation, powerful Caterpillar generators were delivered to hospitals in Kryvyi Rih (920 kW) and Hlukhiv in the Sumy Region (450 kW).

The diplomatic department itself was actively involved in the process. "Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Association of Ukrainian Diplomats' Spouses handed over 8 generators provided by our embassies in Armenia, Italy and Moldova to support doctors, children and affected communities in the Kyiv Region," summarized Andrii Sybiha, expressing gratitude to all international friends of Ukraine

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday, January 20, Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said, that in the coming days, Ukraine will receive energy aid packages from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Azerbaijan and Ireland.
