Russia complains about hits of 25 missiles at Belgorod CHP

On the night of January 21, the gas turbine Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) Michurinskaya, owned by GT Energo, was attacked in Belgorod, russia. The consequences of the attack were reported by the Governor of the Belgorod Oblast Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The official confirmed the damage to critical infrastructure facilities, noting that the shelling damaged enterprises that are part of the region's energy complex. According to Gladkov, production facilities and equipment were damaged on the territory of one of the enterprises.

"As a result of the shelling, the enterprises that are part of the energy complex of the region were damaged. We are conducting demining and starting emergency repairs. In addition, in Belgorod, on the territory of one of the enterprises, premises and equipment were damaged," he wrote.

Russian monitoring resources claim that the Ukrainian Defense Forces used about 25 missiles in the attack. The Ukrainian side has not yet officially commented on the attack on the CHP plant in Belgorod.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian air defense hit a residential building near Krasnodar.

The other day, the russian Defense Ministry said that its air defense system had allegedly neutralized 99 "Ukrainian drones," 47 of which were over the Black Sea.
