Number of cars imported from China doubled in 2025- Ukravtoprom

In 2025, Ukrainians purchased 2 times more passenger cars imported from China, namely 29,300 units compared to 2024.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Of this number: new – 24,000 units (+118%), and used - almost 5,300 units (+61%).

It is noted that in 2025, cars of Chinese origin covered 29.5% of the Ukrainian market of new passenger cars.

In the segment of used cars registered for the first time in Ukraine, the share of "Chinese" is 1.9%.

The absolute majority of passenger cars from the PRC were electric cars - 91%.

The most popular models of new passenger cars of Chinese origin: Volkswagen ID.Unyx - 3,160 units; BYD Song Plus - 2,995 units; BYD Leopard 3 - 1,623 units; Zeekr 7X - 1,558 units and BYD Sea Lion 07 - 1,342 units.

The most popular models of used passenger cars from China: Zeekr 001 - 571 units; Polestar 2 - 297 units; Zeekr 7X - 273 units; AUDI Q4 - 260 units and TESLA Model 3 - 242 units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October 2025, Ukrainians purchased 2.6 times more passenger cars imported from China, namely 3,114 units compared to October 2024.
