On the night of January 17, russian troops attacked an energy facility in the Odesa Region. A fire broke out and there is damage.

The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper and the local unit of the State Emergency Service have reported this on Telegram.

"At night, the enemy struck another cynical blow to the energy infrastructure of the Odesa Region. One of the facilities inthe Odesa Region was damaged and a fire broke out," Kiper said.

According to him, no one was killed or injured as a result of the enemy strike.

Consequence management is currently underway. Critical infrastructure and life support facilities are operating normally.

According to the SESU, the building and vehicles were also damaged. The fire is currently out.

10 vehicles and more than 30 rescuers were engaged by the SESU.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 13, the russian terrorist army struck two energy facilities of the DTEK energy holding in Odesa, leaving about 47,000 families without electricity.
