Ukrainian gas stations record growth in demand for fuel and services
Ukrainian gas station chains are recording a significant increase in demand for fuel amid massive shelling of energy infrastructure and prolonged power outages.
This is reported in a publication by enkorr, the Ukrainian News agency informs.
The report says that gas stations are becoming a kind of "islands of stability" that can meet the basic needs of the population: communication, food, heat and electricity.
The AMIS Energy network told enkorr that fuel sales in the capital region over the past week (from Tuesday to Tuesday) have increased by more than 50%, and in general, the growth in the country is about a third
"We observe that customers refuel both cars and canisters," the company says.
The reasons are not only power outages, but also people returning from vacation.
In the daytime, there are minor queues at some of the network's filling stations, but the situation remains under control.
SOCAR also notes an increase in sales: in January 2026, the network recorded a 20% increase in fuel sales compared to the same period last year.
A similar situation is recorded by the WOG chain, which emphasizes the increase in attendance due to weather conditions, power outages and customer confidence built up over the years.
The OKKO network also confirmed the increased demand in Kyiv and the region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, for the residents of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and regions affected by the russian shelling of energy infrastructure, the UKRNAFTA filling stations are operating invincibility points.
