Tesla will stop selling the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system as a one-time option. Elon Musk has announced this on X (Twitter).

"Tesla will stop selling FSD after Feb 14. FSD will only be available as a monthly subscription thereafter," Musk wrote.

Access to FSD is currently included in a USD 99 per month subscription, while a separate purchase of the system costs USD 8,000. Musk did not say whether the company would revise the current subscription model and its cost.

Experts suggest that the decision may be related to Tesla's desire to encourage used car owners to subscribe to FSD, rather than receive the option for free with the car
