Rada dismisses Minister of Digital Transformation Fedorov
The Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Mykhailo Fedorov from the post of First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation. The corresponding decision was voted for by 270 MPs out of the minimum required 226, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Fedorov has served as First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation since July 2025.
Since March 2023, he has been Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation.
Since August 2019, Fedorov has served as Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation.
During the 2019 presidential election campaign, Fedorov was the head of the digital department at Volodymyr Zelenskyy's headquarters.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 9, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk said that the Verkhovna Rada had received a resignation letter from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
In early January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov become the new head of the Ministry of Defense.
