President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on the night of Tuesday, January 13, the aggressor country russia launched almost 300 attack drones at Ukraine, most of them were Shaheds, 18 ballistic and 7 cruise missiles. The main impact was on the energy infrastructure.
"Again, the main target of the strike is our energy sector: generation, substations. Unfortunately, there is a lot of damage to residential and civilian infrastructure. The Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions were hit. Without any military sense, they hit the postal terminal in Korotychi, Kharkiv Region, with missiles and killed 4 people. My condolences to the family and friends," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added that the situation in the Kyiv Region is also difficult: several hundred thousand families are now without electricity. According to him, all emergency services are working on the ground, and the Invincibility Points have been deployed.
"As always, where Russia is trying to destroy, Ukrainians support each other, and it is internal resilience that is needed most of all now. Each such attack on life is a reminder that we must not stop supporting Ukraine. Missiles for air defense systems are needed every day, and especially during the winter. The world can respond to this Russian terror with new aid packages for Ukraine. We expect to speed up the delivery of what has already been agreed with America and Europe. Russia must realize that it will not win the cold war. I thank everyone who helps," the President said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russia massively attacked the territory of a postal terminal near Kharkiv, four people were killed.
