UAVs become one of key factors in effectiveness of combat units of Ministry of Internal Affairs on battlefield - Minister of Internal Affairs

Units of the National Guard servicemen, border guards and police systematically and effectively use drones for reconnaissance, fire adjustment, detection of equipment and destruction of enemy logistics, as well as for targeted destruction of targets.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"The result of the work of our units over the past year is billions of dollars in losses for the occupying state and losses of the enemy," the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine emphasized," he said.

Ihor Klymenko noted that during 2025: 7,246 artillery pieces, mortars, cannons and self-propelled artillery systems; 92 ground robotic systems; 1,955 armored vehicles; 1,010 enemy tanks; 204 multiple launch rocket systems; 922 electronic warfare and radar systems; 1,059 ammunition depots were destroyed

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 5,800 air assets (UAVs and aviation), hundreds of occupants' positions and fortifications, strongholds, engineering equipment, air defense systems, etc. were destroyed. This proves that investments in unmanned technologies have a real and measurable effect on the battlefield.

"That's why we will continue to develop this area: we will strengthen the training of operators, scale up the best solutions and introduce innovations that have already proven their effectiveness in combat conditions," said Ihor Klymenko.

Each defeat is the result of clear coordination and thorough preparation.

Summarizing, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that the work is ongoing - the pressure on the enemy will only increase.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, during a visit to the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions, said that although the Kupiansk axis remains one of the main ones where the enemy is trying to implement its offensive plans, Ukraine will not give up a single meter of territory.
