Russian Volunteer Corps commander Kapustin's "death" turned out to be staged by Defense Intelligence, RVC commander alive
The commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) Denis Kapustin is alive, and the news of his death was part of a successful special operation by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. It was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine's press service.
The kremlin's money will go to the Armed Forces.
The intelligence service emphasized that the operation was a double blow to the enemy: not only was the commander's life saved, but significant funds of the aggressor were seized
"Failure of the Russian special services - RVC commander Denis Kapustin is alive, and the half a million dollars received for his liquidation will strengthen the DIU's special forces," the statement said.
The Defense Intelligence released a video in which the commander of the "Tymur Special Forces" reports on the results of the operation to the head of the Defense Intelligence, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov. Kapustin himself was present at the meeting.
According to the report, Ukrainian intelligence managed to identify specific customers among russian special services, identify the performers who were to carry out the assassination attempt and intercept the funds allocated by moscow for the murder.
According to the intelligence officers, Denis Kapustin is currently safe.
"As of now, the RVC commander is on the territory of Ukraine and is preparing to fulfill the assigned tasks," Kyrylo Budanov was informed.
Kapustin assured that his media "absence" did not interfere with the combat work of the volunteers: "My temporary absence did not affect the work of the units."
Kyrylo Budanov summarized that the money received from customers is already working for victory: the funds will be used to purchase additional equipment to fight against the occupiers.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Russian Volunteer Corps said that last night, while performing a combat mission on the frontline in the Zaporizhzhia Region, RVC commander Denis WhiteRex Kapustin was killed. The reason was a hit by a russian FPV drone.
