SSU investigating leak of video showing consequences of attack on Kyiv HEPP - Ukrhydroenergo
Ukraine's Security Service has launched an investigation into a video posted on social media that shows in detail the damage to the Kyiv HEPP in Vyshhorod. PJSC Ukrhydroenergo has reported this.
The company emphasized that the dissemination of such footage during the war is unacceptable, as it helps the enemy to adjust fire and threatens the lives of the plant's personnel. The authors and distributors of the video face criminal liability.
Ukrhydroenergo noted that only authorized bodies have the right to publish any information about the state of critical infrastructure. They also reminded about the legal ban on publishing materials on air defense systems and missile or drone hits.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of December 27 and throughout the day on Saturday, russians massively attacked Kyiv and the capital region.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine described the peculiarities of the russian air attack on Ukraine on December 27.
As a result of the russian attack on the night of December 27, consumers in Kyiv and the Kyiv and Chernihiv Regions were cut off from electricity. Rescuers and power engineers will start eliminating the consequences of the attack as soon as the security situation allows.
