Invaders struck Kherson CHPP with artillery. Employee of enterprise injured, destruction reported

The army of the aggressor country of russia struck again at the Kherson combined heat and power plant (CHPP). As a result of the shelling, there is destruction, one employee of the enterprise was injured.

The press service of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company reported this on Sunday, December 28.

"Today, russian troops once again carried out artillery shelling of the Kherson CHPP," the message says.

One of the employees of the enterprise became a victim of the shelling by the invaders. The woman was hospitalized, she is being provided with the necessary assistance.

As a result of the shelling, significant destruction was recorded at the CHPP. Currently, work is underway at the facility to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

The company emphasized that the Kherson CHPP was the only source of heat for several tens of thousands of apartments in Kherson. The enterprise is almost daily subjected to attacks by the occupiers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, yesterday, December 27, the army of the aggressor country carried out a massive attack on Ukraine. The main target of the attack was energy facilities in Kyiv and the Kyiv Region.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russians launched strike drones and missiles of various types over Ukraine. The military also explained why this attack was one of the most complex in recent times.
