Zelenskyy-Trump meeting moved 2 hours earlier

The meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump, which will take place today, December 28, will take place two hours earlier than planned. This is stated in the schedule published on the White House website.

Thus, the meeting of the Presidents was supposed to begin at 03:00 pm local time (10:00 pm Kyiv time). However, the updated schedule states that Trump will take part in a bilateral meeting with Zelenskyy at 01:00 pm local time (08:00 pm Kyiv time).

The reason for the change in the time of the meeting was not disclosed by the White House.

The meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump will take place in Palm Beach, Florida. The Ukrainian delegation has already arrived in the United States.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that within the framework of the "peace plan" with the United States, a large block on the restoration of Ukraine is being discussed, which involves attracting USD 700-800 billion.

Earlier, Zelenskyy announced a meeting with Trump, stating that "a lot can be resolved by the New Year." The President also told reporters that the 20-point peace plan is 90 percent ready. "Our task is to make sure that everything is ready 100 percent," he said, adding that negotiations with Trump can help achieve the desired result.
