Talks between Macron and putin not currently planned - Elysee Palace

The Elysee Palace announced that telephone talks between French President Emmanuel Macron and vladimir putin are not currently planned.

This is stated in a message posted on the website of the French broadcaster BFMTV.

The Elysee Palace emphasized that in recent weeks there has been no dialogue between Macron and putin, and talk about preparing for talks is not true. On Friday, it was also reported that no telephone talks between the two leaders are currently planned.

Thus, Paris officially denied reports of allegedly prepared contacts between the parties.

In addition, the French administration noted that Macron's visit to Moscow is also not on the agenda.
