On-site monitoring of 4 oversight facilities planned for 2026 - NBU
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has planned to conduct on-site monitoring of four oversight facilities in 2026.
This is stated in the NBU's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
These are:
- JSC A - BANK (I quarter);
- LLC FC EVO (II quarter);
- LLC AC DC PROCESSING (III quarter);
- PrJSC Ukrainian Processing Center (IV quarter).
The compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine and the sufficiency of measures taken by payment market participants to ensure the continuous, reliable and effective functioning of the payment infrastructure will be checked.
The plan for conducting on-site monitoring has been drawn up and is being published in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on conducting on-site and non-on-site monitoring of payment infrastructure oversight facilities, approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dated December 31, 2022 No. 257.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank carries out an oversight of the payment infrastructure to ensure its continuous, reliable and effective functioning.
In particular, the oversight includes monitoring of the payment infrastructure, its assessment of compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine and international standards oversight, establishing requirements and restrictions on the operation of the payment infrastructure, as well as providing recommendations on improving the operation of the payment infrastructure and/or applying impact measures.
On-site monitoring is a form of oversight by authorized employees of the National Bank, which is carried out by inspecting the objects of oversight in order to ensure their compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine and assessing the adequacy of the measures taken by them to ensure the continuous, reliable and effective functioning of the payment infrastructure.
On-site monitoring is carried out in the form of scheduled and unscheduled on-site monitoring.
