Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced this and published a video of how the capital has been helping the Armed Forces this year.
"Supporting our defenders is one of the main priorities of the capital. This year, Kyiv has allocated over UAH 12 billion from the city budget to help the military, veterans and their families," said Vitali Klitschko.
The Kyiv mayor also said that in addition to allocating funds to support the military and veterans, the city systematically helps combat units. In particular, as noted in the video, the capital's community has transferred almost 70,000 UAVs, 350 electronic warfare systems, vehicles and communications equipment to the frontline.
"In addition to financing social programs, the city systematically helps combat units by allocating funds for the most necessary things for the military. Kyiv will continue to do everything possible to ensure that our defenders feel the support of the city - both at the front line and after they return home," said Vitali Klitschko.
As previously reported, the Kyiv Military Hub is working in the capital to help the military, veterans and their families. They receive assistance with documents, training, employment, etc.
Additionally, on request, the Kyiv Military Hub is available for military personnel and their families.
In addition, the capital is introducing new services at the request of the veteran community. For example, compensation for the re-equipment of cars or housing for veterans with disabilities, compensation for recreation, for part-time study at universities, etc.
