Ukrainian Armed Forces hint at defeat of russian warship
The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, December 19, published a photo of a warship of the army of the aggressor country russia. It was probably hit by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.
This is evidenced by a message on the official Telegram channel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The photo, which appears to have been taken by a Ukrainian drone camera, shows the Project 22460 patrol ship Okhotnik.
"Going? Details later," the caption to the image reads.
At the time of publication of the news, there were no other official reports on this topic.
"Okhotnik" is a series of patrol ships used by the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the russian federation. The construction of the ships of this series began in 2007, and they have been put into operation since 2009.
According to information from open sources, the russians built 14 ships of the 22460 project. At least four of them were based in the occupied Crimea.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 19, it became known that the Security Service of Ukraine attacked a shadow fleet tanker in the Mediterranean Sea. This is the first such attack.
And last Monday, December 15, the SSU used a new marine drone, Sub Sea Baby, for the first time. It hit a russian Project 363 submarine in the port of Novorossiysk.
