Russian propagandists continue their disinformation campaign about the alleged "atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces" in Kupiansk. In publications and videos disseminated by the enemy, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are accused of "shelling civilians and persecuting civilians." This is stated in a message by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

The Center noted that such materials are based on manipulations: staged videos, footage taken out of context and so-called "testimonies" of people who found themselves in the temporarily occupied territories are used.

The Center emphasized that the goal of this disinformation campaign is to defame the Ukrainian army, destroy the trust in the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Ukrainian society and the international community, and to shift the responsibility for its own war crimes to Ukraine.

The kremlin's propaganda also continues to convince russians that the aggressor country, russia, is in "full control" of Kupiansk - even after the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the city.
