Power outages in Cherkasy, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia Regions due to russian night attack - Ukrenergo
At night, russian occupants attacked power facilities in several regions. As a result, consumers in the Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia Regions are without electricity in the morning. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported this.
"Emergency restoration works continue in all affected regions. Power engineers are doing everything possible to bring the damaged equipment back into operation as soon as possible," the statement said.
As a result of previous massive attacks on the power grid, hourly blackouts and power limitation schedules are currently being applied in most regions of Ukraine.
Electricity consumption is in line with seasonal indicators. In the morning of December 18, its level was the same as at this time on the previous day - on Wednesday.
"In the regions where hourly blackouts are applied, the need for economical energy consumption remains. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to the night hours after 11 p.m. Saving electricity will help to reduce the duration of forced outages," the power engineers added.
As a reminder, this morning Cherkasy suffered a large-scale attack by russian drones, numerous destructions were recorded in the city, and civilians were injured. The city of Sumy was also attacked.
