Drone attack in Odesa Region: residential building and school damaged, seven people injured
On the evening of December 17, russian drones attacked the Odesa Region. As a result of the attack, a multi-storey residential building and an educational institution were damaged, and civilians were injured.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper has reported this.
According to him, in the Odesa district, the blast wave smashed windows in a nine-story building and an educational institution. There were no fires after the attack, emergency and utility services are working on the ground.
Later, after 1 a.m. on December 18, the head of the Regional Military Administration clarified information about the consequences of the shelling. The number of victims increased to seven people.
"Currently, we know about seven victims. Six people were helped on the spot, another person was hospitalized in moderate condition. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance," Kiper said.
On the night of December 13, russian troops launched a large-scale combined attack on Odesa, using attack drones and missiles. The attack damaged civilian, energy and industrial infrastructure. Due to large-scale blackouts in the region, a state of emergency was declared at the state level.
