Bezuhla blocks rostrum of Rada demanding release of Syrskyi: clashes break out in hall
Non-affiliated MP Mariana Bezuhla blocked the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada before the meeting began, demanding the dismissal of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi. This led to a clash with MP Serhii Taruta from the Batkivshchyna party.
MP Oleksii Honcharenko (European Solidarity) has reported this on his Telegram channel.
In addition to the dismissal of Syrskyi, Bezuhla demands: military reform, rethinking how our defense is planned, resolving the issue of service terms and rotation.
"According to Bezuhla, the Administration of State Guard started stopping at the entrance, she was forcing her way into the Rada. There were three clashes, and a wider tape was taken away from her. I asked her if she had any questions for Zelenskyy, and she said she did. But she is not calling for Zelenskyy's resignation because he is, quote, "a critical infrastructure facility," Honcharenko wrote.
Subsequently, clashes broke out in the Rada, Taruta began to tear down the ribbons and quarrel with Bezuhla.
Recall that Bezuhla, who advocates for increasing the salaries of MPs, earns UAH 1.5 million a year.
