Macron assures Zelenskyy of Ukraine's support on path to peace
French President Emmanuel Macron supported Ukraine and said that efforts are underway to build a lasting peace while Russia continues its aggression. This was stated in a message on Macron's X-account on Sunday, December 14.
Macron said that he had a conversation with President Zelenskyy. According to him, France is and will be by Ukraine's side on the path to a lasting and lasting peace that can guarantee the security and sovereignty of Ukraine and Europe in the long term.
"I just had a conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Americans, Europeans and Ukrainians only want peace. While russia continues its aggressive war, Ukraine is holding on. I thank all the negotiators, Ukrainian, European and American, who mobilized to achieve this goal," the French President emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 14, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the start of a meeting with the American delegation in the German capital Berlin.
