Ukraine takes 2nd place at Junior Eurovision 2025
The Ukrainian participant in Junior Eurovision 2025 took second place at the song contest, receiving, in particular, the largest number of audience votes.

Sofia Nersesian with the song "Motanka" took 2nd place at this year's Junior Eurovision with a total of 177 points.
The participant from Ukraine received 98 points from the audience, becoming the winner of the audience vote. Meanwhile, the national juries gave Ukraine 79 points:
10 points - San Marino, Montenegro
8 points - Croatia
6 points - Malta, Armenia, Georgia, France
5 points - Cyprus, Albania
4 points - Netherlands, North Macedonia
3 points - Ireland, Portugal
2 points - Spain
1 point - Italy
The winner of the contest was the French participant Lou Deleuze with the song "Ce Monde". This is the fourth victory for France in the history of the contest, and it overtakes Georgia in this indicator.
This year's contest took place on December 13 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 3, a shortlist of nine artists who will compete in the final of the National Selection for the right to represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2026 was announced. The music producer of the National Selection, Jamala, noted that the choice was not easy.
Meanwhile, the winners of Eurovision 2024 Nemo decided to refuse the cup due to Israel's participation in the contest.
