Stepan Giga's last will: where and when the artist will be buried

Today, December 14, in Lviv, the farewell to the People's Artist of Ukraine Stepan Giga, who died on December 12 at the age of 66, will begin. It became known that he bequeathed to be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery.

This was reported by the Mayor of Lviv, Andrii Sadovyi.

"Stepan Giga bequeathed to be buried in Lviv, at the Lychakiv Cemetery. We are fulfilling his last will and announcing the farewell ceremony for the People's Artist of Ukraine," the message says.

On Sunday, December 14, the farewell will begin at 4:00 pm at the Saints Peter and Paul Garrison Church (11, Teatralna Street).

At 7:00 pm - the parastas ceremony. In general, the farewell will last until 11:00 pm.

On Monday, December 15, at 2:00 pm - a funeral service in the Garrison Church. Approximately at 3:00 pm - a city-wide farewell on Rynok Square.

It is reported that Stepan Giga will be buried on the 75th field of the Lychakiv Cemetery. The city is organizing the farewell and burial.
