White House once again making statements about peace plan for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that a peace agreement on Ukraine can be achieved, despite the existing difficulties.

The corresponding video was released by the press service of the American President.

He noted that "a lot of people want this to work" and called for waiting for the results of the negotiations. Trump added that work is currently underway on the agreement, although he did not give specifics regarding the "free economic zone" in Donbas.

At the moment, the US, Ukraine and Europe are working on key documents, including an agreement on security guarantees. At the same time, the publication about the zone between the front lines, 40 kilometers, raised doubts due to uncertainty about the number of peacekeepers needed and the prescribed mechanisms.

It was also found out that the communications adviser to the President of Ukraine commented that the information about Ukraine's possible agreement on demilitarization is incorrect.
