China stepping up cooperation with russia in military industry - Zelenskyy
China is taking steps to intensify cooperation with the aggressor country russia, in particular in the military industry, as confirmed by the intelligence of Ukraine's partners. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Wednesday, December 10, based on a report by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko.
Zelenskyy noted that Ivashchenko briefed him on the foreign policy situation around Ukraine. The intelligence chief also disclosed details of the economic situation in russia, where the state system and companies are increasingly dependent on Chinese investments, technologies and political priorities.
"We are witnessing an increase in the actual desovereignization of a part of Russian territory in favor of China. This is primarily about the use of resource-rich lands and the sale of scarce resources to China. We also note that China is taking steps to intensify cooperation with Russia, particularly in the military industry. The intelligence agencies of our partners have similar information," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President instructed Ivashchenko to monitor cooperation between moscow and Beijing in all aspects related to Ukraine's national interests, as well as the interests of partners in Europe and America. In addition, according to intelligence, Russia is launching campaigns in Ukraine to destabilize the state. Zelenskyy emphasized that the activities of all such entities would be blocked.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 4, Chinese leader Xi Jinping said that Beijing supports reaching a peace agreement on Ukraine that would be "acceptable to all parties."
On November 24, Xi Jinping told US President Donald Trump that he hopes that Ukraine and the aggressor country russia will "narrow their differences" and "eliminate the causes of the conflict".
At the same time, Chinese companies have significantly increased prices for raw materials and goods for the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the aggressor country russia.
