Ukraine ready to stop strikes on russia if russians stop attacking energy sector - Zelenskyy

Ukraine is ready to stop strikes on energy facilities in the territory of the aggressor country russia if moscow agrees to do the same.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a conversation with journalists, Ukrainian Pravda reports.

He reminded that Ukraine strikes at facilities in russia exclusively in response to russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

"So if the Russians are ready for an energy truce, and we have always emphasized this, we are ready. This is very important for people," Zelenskyy said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 2, it became known that in November Ukraine was forced to increase electricity imports. The growth in purchases amounted to 15%.

As a reminder, Yasno explained why the amounts in electricity bills are growing despite the power outages.
