In January-November, steel production down 3% to 6.8 million tons

In January-November 2025, steel production decreased by 3.1% to 6.81 million tons compared to the same period in 2024.

This is stated in the information published on the website of the Ukrmetallurgprom association of enterprises, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-November 2025, pig iron production increased by 10.2% to 7.19 million tons compared to the same period in 2024, and rolled steel production - by 3.9% to 5.97 million tons.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-September 2025, steel production decreased by 6.1% to 5.52 million tons compared to the same period in 2024.

Ukraine ranked 20th in the ranking of the international association Worldsteel in terms of steel production in 2024.
