Drone exploded in Chernihiv at night: gas pipeline caught fire, 2 people injured

On the night of December 8, a russian drone exploded near a high-rise building in Chernihiv. The blast wave broke out windows and doors, damaged a car, and also caused a gas pipeline to catch fire.

The head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration Volodymyr Bryzhynskyi reported on Telegram: "An enemy UAV exploded near a high-rise building. The blast wave broke out windows and doors, damaged cars." According to him, rescuers are extinguishing a gas pipeline fire.

"Two people were injured. They are being helped," Bryzhynskyi added.

Russia regularly fires at Chernihiv using drones and missiles.
