NABU detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov released from custody

The Kyiv Court of Appeals has released National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov on personal recognizance. This was reported by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP from the Holos faction, on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, December 3.

"NABU detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov has been released without bail!!!! Thank you to everyone who supported and fought for these 5 months," Zhelezniak wrote.

The Anti-Corruption Action Centre noted that the prosecutor's office in court agreed to house arrest.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 4, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau stated that the Prosecutor General's Office, accompanied by special forces, searched the NABU employee with the use of physical force.

As a reminder, on November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office published some of the audio recordings as part of the investigation into a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector, codenamed "Midas".

On November 10, NABU detectives came to search the homes of businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Tymur Mindich, Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko, and Energoatom.
