As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Markarova became an advisor to the President on the issues of rebuilding Ukraine and attracting investments. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Oksana Markarova as his advisor, entrusting her with the task of rebuilding Ukraine and attracting investment. Last year, the speaker of the US Congress demanded the dismissal of Ukrainian Ambassador Markarova and accused her of interfering in the election. On August 27, Zelenskyy appointed Stefanishyna as ambassador to the United States to replace Oksana Markarova. Stefanishyna served as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice.
