Drones attack Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in Samara Oblast again - russian media
On the night of November 27, russian Telegram channels, in particular Astra, reported an attack by drones on the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara Oblast of the russian federation. According to their data, explosions were heard in Novokuibyshevsk, and the local Federal Aviation Administration temporarily closed the Samara airport.
Astra specified that the target of the attack was the Novokuibyshevsk refinery. The channel analyzed the video shot by eyewitnesses from Michurina Street and noted that the recording shows at least three flashes: one in the air at an altitude of about 1.5 km, another one above the horizon, which also occurred in the air, probably as a result of air defense operations south of the oil refinery. The distance from the shooting location to one of the explosions exceeded 3.5 km. In addition, at the end of the video, a bright glow is visible - already directly on the territory of the refinery.
Local authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
JSC Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery is part of the Rosneft group. This is not the first attack on the enterprise - drones have already hit it on November 16 and October 19.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian oil is unlikely to quickly return to the world market if the war in Ukraine ends.
