Price of electricity from Energoatom rises to record high in December
Energoatom has contracted base-load electricity under bilateral agreements for the first decade of December 2025 at a record weighted average price of UAH 6,515/MWh.
ExPro publication writes about it, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that according to the results of the auction held on November 24, Energoatom contracted only 1.6 GW of base load under bilateral agreements for the first decade of December, which is 70% of the total offer at the auction.

Such large traders as D.Trading, Energy Company of Ukraine and ERU Trading are not among the buyers.
It is noted that during the auction, the price rose to a maximum of UAH 6,515/MWh, and dropped to a minimum of UAH 6,300/MWh.
According to ExPro's calculations, the price for the December resource from Energoatom increased by 13% compared to the November resource.
As compared to the same period last year, the indicator increased by 27%.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine informs about the the start of a competitive selection for four positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the Joint Stock Company "National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "Energoatom" in accordance with the requirements for candidates and evaluation criteria approved by the Nomination Committee.
