Halushchenko helps Mindich control financial flows in energy sector in exchange for his patronage before Zelenskyy - NABU
Former Minister of Justice and former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko assisted businessman Tymur Mindich in controlling financial flows in the energy sector in exchange for his patronage before President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
This is evidenced by the NABU's report of suspicion against Mindich, a copy of which was published by MP Oleksii Honcharenko on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report of suspicion, with the assistance of Halushchenko, Mindich and the enterprises controlled by him received significant amounts of money.
In exchange, Halushchenko received personal benefit by patronizing Mindich before President Zelenskyy and using the services organized by Mindich for money laundering through a trusted person - Halushchenko's advisor Myroniuk.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada, amid a corruption scandal in the energy sector, dismissed the Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko, who served as the Minister of Energy in the government of Denys Shmyhal (April 2021-July 2025). On November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they were conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector. On November 10, NABU detectives came to search the homes of businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Tymur Mindich, Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko, and the Energoatom company.
