A gas pipeline exploded and caught fire in the village of Rostovka, Omsk Oblast, the aggressor countryb of russia. It was reported by the Meduza publication and russian Telegram channels on Tuesday, November 18.

The explosion occurred in the village of Rostovka, but it was also felt in neighboring settlements. The flames rose 30-40 meters. The local authorities were quick to name the preliminary cause as "a pipe depressurization and gas leakage."

"Emergencies Ministry employees, ambulance and repair crews are on the scene. The nearest residential building is no more than 300 meters away. The Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee have started checks," the statement said.

The head of the region, Vitaly Khotsenko, said that the "accident" occurred on an underground section of the main gas pipeline. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
