Poland's Chief of General Staff says armed attack being prepared against country
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Poland, General Wiesław Kukuła, said that an armed attack is being prepared against the country. An environment is being created that should lead to the creation of favorable conditions.
According to Rzecz Pospolita, Kukuła said this in an interview with Jedynka radio.
"The enemy has begun preparations for war. It is creating a certain environment here, which should lead to the creation of conditions favorable for potential aggression on the territory of Poland," Kukuła said.
According to him, this is typical for 1939, but, in fact, preceded many armed conflicts. He emphasized that the main thing now is the position and response of Poland and its allies.
Kukuła added that Warsaw is able to respond to threats in different ways. It all depends on the decision whether to use them or not, as well as on the position of the country's leadership, whether it will be possible to deter the enemy or push it to aggression.
"Any attack on NATO countries or on our territory will entail a decisive response and a great risk for the potential aggressor, that is, the Russian Federation," Kukula said.
As the Ukrainian News agency reported, earlier today, November 17, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that yesterday as a result of the sabotage the railway was damaged.
Tusk later posted a video on his X (Twitter) account showing the site of the explosion on the railroad.
