Russia attacks Izmail seaport at night, damages infrastructure and several ships

On the night of November 17, russia launched a drone strike on the seaport in Izmail, Odesa Region. It was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on Facebook.

The shelling damaged port infrastructure and civilian vessels near the berths.

"The work in the port is controlled and coordinated in accordance with security protocols," the statement said.

After the attack, one of the ports experienced problems with power supply, as Vice Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba said. He added that, fortunately, there were no casualties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the occupiers launched ballistic missiles and more than a hundred drones at Ukraine. There were hits at 17 locations.

As a result of russian drone attacks during the night and morning of November 17, consumers in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa Regions were cut off from electricity supply. Wherever the security situation allows, emergency repair work has already begun.

Also yesterday, russia struck a power facility in the Chernihiv Region with drones.

Meanwhile, in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, the train schedule has changed due to shelling. It was reported which flights were suspended.
