Historic high - imports of goods exceed exports by more than USD 30 billion in 9 months
In January-September 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 30,618.9 million.
The State Statistics Service has announced this, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
In January-September 2025, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 10,215.7 million compared to January-September 2024 (in January-September 2024, the negative balance was USD 20,403.2 million).
Exports of goods in January-September amounted to USD 29,572.1 million, while it decreased by 4.1% compared to January-September 2024
In January-September, imports of goods amounted to USD 60,191.0 million, an increase of 17.5%.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January-August 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 26,228.3 million.
During 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 1,634 million compared to 2023 (in 2023, the negative balance was USD 27,384.1 million).
