AFU struck russian oil refinery and UAV warehouse - General Staff

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Novokuibyshevsk refinery in the Samara Oblast of the aggressor country of russia, as well as the UAV storage base of the Rubikon unit. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As part of reducing the enemy's offensive potential and complicating the supply of fuel and ammunition to the military units of the occupiers, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the facilities of the Novokuibyshevsk refinery in the Samara Oblast of the russian federation. This is an oil refinery, the annual processing volume of which is 8.8 million tons. The enterprise produces more than 20 types of commercial products. It is involved in providing the russian occupation army - it is one of the main producers of the highest grade fuel for jet engines," the report says.

Explosions and a fire were recorded in the area of ​​the target. The extent of damage is being specified.

In addition, the Rubikon UAV storage base and a fuel and lubricants pumping station in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk Region were hit.

The results of the hit on the Ryazansky refinery were also clarified - the ELOU-AVT-4 and ELOU-AVT-6 oil processing plants, a tank with oil products, and a pipeline overpass were damaged.
