Ukraine and US launch joint production of interceptor drones - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine and the US have launched joint production of interceptor drones used in air defense.

He said this in an interview with Bloomberg.

Thus, the Ukrainian President said that together with the US, Ukraine has launched the production of interceptor drones.

"American-Ukrainian production, joint production. I hope that in the future we will have more," he said.

Recall, Zelenskyy stated that from November, Ukraine plans to put 500-800 interceptors on daily duty to repel attacks by Shahed drones.

According to the President, the interceptors have different characteristics - some of them have already reached a high technical level, in particular, they are equipped with homing systems and modern electronics.

Zelenskyy also claimed that as of October, the efficiency of destroying enemy UAVs by interceptor drones was 68%. According to him, this indicator will increase in the future.
