Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank decides to appoint Natalia Hurina as Board Chair from 2026

The Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank has decided to appoint Natalia Hurina as the new Chairperson of the Board of the bank following the results of the competition.

This is announced in the bank's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

This decision must be approved by state supervisory authorities.

It is expected that Natalia Hurina will begin performing her duties as the Chairperson of the Board of the bank from January 1, 2026.

Natalia Hurina is currently responsible for risk management and work with problem assets as Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Raiffeisen since January 2012.

At different times, she held positions in various areas: stock exchange operations, currency control, treasury, credit operations, monitoring of the loan portfolio and problem loans. Before being appointed a member of the bank's board in July 2007, she was the deputy chief risk manager - director of the corporate risk department.

The election of a new CEO of Raiffeisen Bank was a planned step after Oleksandr Pysaruk's decision not to extend his contract for a new period.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Raiffeisen Bank is the largest Ukrainian bank with foreign capital.

On August 19, 2019, Raiffeisen Bank Aval dismissed Volodymyr Lavrenchuk from the duties of Chairman of the Board, appointing Oleksandr Pysaruk in his place.

In the summer of 2021, Raiffeisen Bank Aval was renamed Raiffeisen Bank.
