In October, twice as many short-range EW means deployed to front compared to September - Syrskyi
In October, twice as many short-range electronic warfare (EW) means were deployed to the front compared to September. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We are increasing the effectiveness of our EW against enemy UAVs. We are working on the quality and number of stations. In October, twice as many short-range EW means were deployed to the front compared to September," he said.
Syrskyi stressed that the Unmanned Systems Forces not only effectively strike the enemy, but are also constantly developing technologically and tactically.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Syrskyi also reported that in October, drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck 77,000 enemy targets.
In July, the Ministry of Defense admitted 9 new electronic warfare/intelligence systems for operation in the Armed Forces. 90% of the new products are products of the Ukrainian defense industry.
