In October, UAVs of AFU hit 77,000 enemy targets - Syrskyi

In October, UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 77,000 enemy targets. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The priority scaling of unmanned systems units is giving concrete results - the number of destroyed enemies is growing. Thus, in October, our aviation unmanned complexes hit 77,000 enemy targets. The best combat performance was demonstrated by FPV drones and heavy bombers," he said.

Syrskyi added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively increasing ground robotic complexes, in the conditions of expanding kill zones, they are becoming an integral element of modern technological warfare. He noted that the logistical role of ground unmanned complexes is constantly growing: in October, they delivered almost 300,000 kg of provisions to units.

Syrskyi reported that he pays special attention to scaling the units of the Unmanned Systems Forces: increasing the number of trained crews, attracting personnel and creating infrastructure for their effective functioning.

He said that during the meeting he heard reports from combat commanders on the implementation of new tactics for using drones and using systems that are more resistant to enemy electronic warfare and more effective in combat use.

Syrskyi emphasized that all successful cases that increase enemy losses will be promptly scaled up in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier Syrskyi reported that in September, the UAF drones hit 66,500 enemy targets, which is 10.8% more than in August, of which 39,200 hits were caused by kamikaze drones.
