Used imported cars continue to be in demand, gasoline cars are priority - Ukravtoprom
During October, the Ukrainian car fleet increased by 60% compared to the same period in 2024 to over 26,100 used passenger cars imported from abroad.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Compared to the previous month, the demand for such cars increased by 12%.
The largest share in this segment of the car market belonged to gasoline cars - 44%.
Electric cars occupy 30% of this segment of the car market, diesel cars - 18%, hybrids - 5% and cars with HBO - 3%.
It is noted that the average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in October is - 8.2 years.
The leader among imported second-hand cars remains the Volkswagen Golf - 1,208 units.
In second place is the TESLA Model Y (942 units), in third place is the TESLA Model 3 (862 units), in fourth place is the VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan (752 units), in fifth place is the RENAULT Megane (730 units), in sixth place is the AUDI Q5 (726 units), in seventh place is the NISSAN Leaf (697 units), in eighth place is the SKODA Octavia (665 units), in ninth place is the NISSAN Rogue (636 units), and the top ten is closed by the KIA Niro (551 units).
In total, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased 207,900 imported passenger cars with mileage, which is 8% more than in the same period in 2024.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, compared to 2023, sales of used imported passenger cars increased by 4% to 222,100 units.
