Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions have been without electricity since yesterday: what is situation in power system now

As a result of russian attacks on energy facilities, consumers in several regions have been without electricity as of the morning of November 7. A significant number of consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions have also been without electricity since yesterday. This was reported by Ukrenergo.

It is noted that emergency and restoration work is ongoing in all regions affected by the shelling.

"Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of russian shelling, consumption restriction measures are being applied in most regions of Ukraine today. As of now, hourly outage schedules of 1 turn are in effect. Also, in the period from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm, capacity restriction schedules for industry and business are being applied," the report says.

Electricity consumption is showing a growing trend.

"Given the consequences of russian attacks on energy facilities and weather conditions that cause low efficiency of solar power plants, there is still a need for economical consumption of electricity. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances until 10:00 pm," the energy experts added.
